AfterwordWithdrawal from the raceDennis withdrew from the
race for the Democratic Presidential nomination officially on Friday
1/25/2008. You can see the news conference video here.
In case you're wondering, Dennis is not going to endorse anyone else -- he wants people to make their own decision. Help Dennis retain his seat in CongressHis principal reason for
withdrawing from the Presidential race was the need to focus on
campaigning to retain his Congressional seat -- there are 4
serious challengers from the Democratic party, at least
one of which has a lot of money. You can donate and sign up to help at http://www.kucinich.us/
We the people desperately need Dennis in Congress. As we saw in the presidential campaign, there are many forces aligned trying to undermine Dennis' work. Please do all you can. Phone calling: If you can make phone calls to people in Cleveland to help Dennis, please write to Marr and she'll get a list to you as soon as they're ready -- should be sometime during the week of 2/10/2008. There will be a phone script you can use. The Movement Continues with IntegrityNow.orgIn that news conference,
he announced that people interested in staying in touch with the
movement can sign up at www.IntegrityNow.org
The final Campaign Weekly Update, which for some reason they

made on the floor of the House sometime shortly before Bush's the State
of the Union address (which was on 1/28/2008) is here. I don't know what is going
on with this -- Dennis spoke for about a minute saying he was going to
introduce Articles of Impeachment against Bush on the day of the State
of the Union address, then a few minutes later asked that the remarks
be stricken from the record.
On his Congressman Dennis Kucinich website, http://kucinich.house.gov/, there's a statement made on 1/28/2008 saying he met with members of the Juciciary Committee and decided to give them a chance to move on the Cheney impeachment before introducing articles against Bush. The statement is here. Congressman Robert Wexler's Impeachment EffortCongressman Robert Wexler,
(D-Florida) is a member of the Juciciary
Committee, where Dennis's resolution to impeach Cheney is languishing.
Congressman Wexler is collecting signatures and doing all he can to get
the Committee to move on the resolution. His website for the purpose is
