San Diego Area Volunteer OpportunitiesPrecinct Walking - click here for detailsThis is
by far the most effective way to win votes. We now have a system for
generating lists of voters by precinct so that we can walk and/or
telephone voters. Tom Plotts will be heading up this effort. If you'd
like to phone or walk precincts, please email Steve@SanDiego4Kucinich.com or call 858-699-0025 and I'll get you started. We'll be planning phoning and walking parties in the next week.
Yard SignsJames and Em are spearheading this effort in neighborhood rejuvenation. Now that we're within 30 days of the election, it is LEGAL to put campaign signs on public property. Em and James have put up signs around Central San Diego, and it warms my heart right up whenever I see one.TablingSet up a table (or ironing
board) in front of a store with information, bumper stickers, and
buttons. This is legal, as long as you don't impede traffic. However,
if for some reason you're not comfortable, don't feel like you have to
be a hero and stay.
